What is the type of legalization documents from the Department of Consular Affairs and what are the procedures and supporting documents?
The public document has been prepared in two languages as a standard document and can use at all. However, it must be certified at the Legalization division before using it at various government agencies. You can request for legalization documents for normal processing time or express the time that you will receive documents within that day. Normally, documents will be received in 3 working days, depending on the convenience of the applicant. Requesting a legalization document, you can do it by yourself or through an agent. The procedure for requesting legalization documents by yourself
- Fill out a legalization application form
- Contact Public Relation (Press queue card)
- Submit the application form and documents (Express process, you can receive documents within one day, Normal process, you can receive documents within 3 days)
- Make a payment
- Documents screening/ Translation Proofreading (If incorrect translation, please submit before 14.00 hrs. and collect on the next day)
- Sticker printing/ Signing documents
- Receive the documents
