• Visa is a conditional authorization granted by a territory to a foreigner, allowing them to enter the countries. The type of visa depends on the purpose stated when applying for the visa such as if you have a Tourist Visa, you cannot allow to work. If you working, it illegal.
• The validity of visa is the duration of the visa that is stamped on the passport such as if the expiration of the visa is 15/08/20, visa holders must travel outside the country within 15/08/20 immediately. If the visa is expired but you still in the country, it considered illegal and you will have to pay a fine and cannot enter the country again.
• The duration of permit to stay when entering Thailand is the period allowed to stay in the Kingdom not more than 90 days. If you are necessary to stay after 90 days, you have to request to extend your stay and your visa must not expire.

There are many types of visas and each category is different periods of stay permit as described in the table below.

When traveling to stay in Thailand, you must report to the Immigration Bureau officials every 90 days. If staying until the end of the permitted period and wanting to extend your stay, you can extend the visa period further by submitting a request to stay at the Immigration Bureau.
